Angela Heinz, a prominent socialite and the South African agent for Morgan cars, started this wonderful tradition in the mid-1980s after being inspired by a vintage car picnic in Bois de Boulogne. What began as an informal gathering at Delta Park has blossomed into one of Johannesburg’s most beloved automotive events.

Angela’s passion for classic cars was matched only by her generous spirit. What makes this event even more special is knowing that her vision continues to make a difference over a million rand has been donated to hospice care since the picnic’s inception. Now that’s leaving a legacy that matters!
