Inspired by Mandela Day on 18 July, companies can take part throughout the month, helping to turn surplus goods into patient care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded in 1979 as the first hospice in Africa, Greendale House supports more than 400 patients, family members and carers every day across Johannesburg, Soweto and Lenasia through home-based care, inpatient care, counselling, social work, bereavement support and end-of-life care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The proceeds from donated goods help fund this care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A donated lounge suite or a large stock donation could help fund a day or more of specialist nursing care in our Inpatient Unit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A box of homeware, toys or books could help fund several home visits by a palliative care nurse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The proceeds from clothing sales could help provide counselling and social work support to families facing illness, grief and loss.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why Partner with Greendale House?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our thrift shops depend on a steady supply of quality stock.
