Inspired by Mandela Day on 18 July, workplace donation drives can take place at any time during July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Greendale House Palliative &amp; Hospice Care is asking businesses across Johannesburg to hold workplace donation drives in support of our four thrift shops, helping to fund palliative and hospice care for patients and families who need it most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded in 1979 as the first hospice in Africa, Greendale House now supports more than 400 patients, family members and carers every day across Johannesburg, Soweto and Lenasia through home-based care, inpatient care, counselling, social work, bereavement support and end-of-life care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our thrift shops play an important role in making this care possible.
